Congratulations to Sumer Wallace, MD, of the UW Ob-Gyn Division of Gynecologic Oncology, who became the UW Health physician informaticist for Gynecologic Oncology on April 1!
In this role, Wallace will support and provide clinical leadership in the use, implementation, and critical evaluation of health information technology at UW Health and model the use of Health Link and other health information technology innovations. She will represent provider perspectives in institutional decisions about functionality and usability of health information technology, participate in Epic’s provider advisory group meetings, and much more. This administrative role is in addition to her busy clinical practice.
