The UW Department of Ob-Gyn had the great pleasure of hosting past ACOG President Lisa Hollier, MD, MPH as the keynote speaker for Resident Research Day on February 24, 2022. Hollier, who is a professor of ob-gyn at Baylor College of Medicine, presented the keynote lecture “Preventing Pregnancy-Related Mortality.”
In the lecture, Hollier discussed various factors that contribute to pregnancy-related mortality in Wisconsin and the U.S., shared collaborative, team-based solutions to reduce mortality, and offered actionable recommendations for implementation.
