At the February 17, 2022 UW Ob-Gyn Department Meeting, UW Health Community Health Improvement Program Manager Adrian Jones shared results from the latest Healthy Dane Collaborative Community Health Needs Assessment.
The needs assessment includes updates on Dane County’s rates of infant mortality, low birth weight, maternal and child health, and maternal mortality. The report identifies maternal and child health as a priority focus area, and outlines community initiatives like enhanced doula access and improved prenatal care coordination as steps to improve health outcomes.
