Every year in the lead-up to Sparkle of Hope, Channel 3000 films and airs an inspiring story about a patient who has worked with the UW Ob-Gyn Division of Gynecologic Oncology as part of their gynecologic cancer journey.
This year, in “Sparkle of Hope: Fighting cancer during the pandemic”, Cindy Mikula shared her story of endometrial cancer recurrence and enrollment on a clinical trial. Ellen Hartenbach, MD connected Cindy to the clinical trial, and discussed Cindy’s experience with Channel 3.
