
The Wisconsin Medical Journal (WMJ) is seeking candidates to serve as its next editor-in-chief. Owned and operated through a collaboration between SMPH and the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), WMJ is an indexed, peer-reviewed journal published since 1903.
The editor-in-chief works with WMJ staff, deputy editor(s), and the WMJ Editorial Board to shape, lead, and execute the journal’s mission: to provide an opportunity to publish original research, case reports, review articles, and essays about current medical and public health issues.
Qualifications include:
- Faculty member at SMPH or MCW
- Record of successful previous publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Possess a broad medical vantage point
- Excellent writing and editing skills
