Huge congratulations to Lily Johnson, who received a promotion at the UW Foundation, advancing from Director of Development to Senior Director of Development!
Lily’s depth of knowledge and passion for women’s health has been instrumental in building a strong culture of philanthropy within the Department of Ob-Gyn, navigating a collaborative partnership with Unity Point-Meriter to create the Healthy Births Healthy Babies Pilot Giving Campaign, and cultivating a strong pipeline of major and principle gift donors.
With over 11 years of frontline fundraising experience, Lily brings a nuanced understanding of how to navigate complex environments and positions herself as a key advisor and strategist to WFAA colleagues, campus partners and donors. During her tenure with UW, Lily identified a gap in alumni engagement and established the UW Ob-Gyn Society which has resulted in multiple six and seven figure gifts, including a recent Morgridge Match Professorship. She continues to build strategic initiatives and work with campus partners on transformative ideas which will play a key role in ensuring the success of the ongoing medical campaign- which aims to highlight and celebrate women’s health here at UW.
