The Wisconsin Collaborative for Rural GME recently launched a new “Day in the Life of a Rural Resident” video series. The first video features UW Ob-Gyn rural resident Kaley Gyorfi, MD, PGY-2 on a rural rotation at Western Wisconsin Health in Baldwin, Wisconsin!
In the video, Gyorfi walks us through a typical day at a rural hospital site, including arriving at the hospital around 7:00am, rounding or prepping patients for surgery, meeting with patients for a busy morning of clinical visits, and checking in on Labor and Delivery. Gyorfi shares some of her favorite aspects of rural practice, how rural rotations look different from training in Madison, and more!
