Jackie Peebles, MD, of the UW Ob-Gyn Division of Academic Specialists in Ob-Gyn, has accepted a position at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and will be departing UW in June 2022. We would like to thank Dr. Peebles for 10 outstanding years in the Department of Ob-Gyn, and wish her all the best at MCW!
In addition to being a beloved physician, Dr. Peebles has been actively involved in resident and medical student education, serving as associate director of the UW Department of Ob-Gyn’s residency training program. She has been awarded the CREOG National Faculty Teaching Award, the Dr. Sabine Droste Outstanding Teacher Award, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists Excellence in Endoscopy Award.
She has been a valued leader in our department, chairing the Education Committee and Residency Clinical Competency Committee and serving on many others, including the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, over the years. Dr. Peebles, you will be missed!
