Please help us congratulate the Mind Over Matter: Healthy Bowels, Healthy Bladder research team, which won the Paster Family Foundation Innovation Award for the development and dissemination of their program.

The Paster Family Foundation Innovation Award is given for a project, system improvement, or initiative that has made a difference in human health and/or the lives of patients and their families. The Mind Over Matter team worked with the Wisconsin Institute for Healthy Aging to develop a bladder and bowel continence information and self-management program for older women. That partnership brought more than 60 Mind Over Matter workshops to move than 500 participants in 25 Wisconsin counties. The program is also recognized by the National Council on Aging, which means community organizations can use Older Americans Act funding to implement the program.

Watch this video prepared by research team members Madeline Moureau and Zoe Rozema to learn more about Mind Over Matter. Congratulations, all!
